no he was an evil wizard who was betrayed/sacrificed by a cult he joined, but actually sorta yeah. He never cast fireball, it was all like, improved reflexes, the "made of metal" spell, and a slight amount of irradiation (he needed to nuke the blood to help him regenerate mana). gurps is fun.

personally, I enjoyed playing a guy who could turn into metal and then wrestled his enemies to the ground.
