Makes the boring job of ironing the fabric go much quicker. Can’t wait to see what you’ll make

It does look pretty. Out here in NB we’re getting the snow today, but a little less of it. Enjoy those gummy bears

When Covid hit, everyone stocked up on toilet paper. No knowing what makes us panic buy the way we do, humans are weird

I just discovered that as a dual citizen born in UK and living in Canada, if I don’t have a British passport i need a certificate of entitlement to enter the country. It costs Β£589. I just can’t imagine the reasoning behind this move by the British government.

You’d think NPR could get facts straight. Australia only banned it for children under 16.

Inseparable bows and ribbons from the wrap so that I can recycle, but I never reuse. My MIL always did and you could tell by how her wrapped presents looked. She gave great gifts, but the wrapping made us all smile

It’s a good place to store frozen food. And up that high rations and squirrels won’t get it

Well I’m not racist, morning grant nor corrupt. And I don’t lump people together based on how someone in a generation voted. What you are is ageist. And, I don’t know where you fit in, but being part of a β€œgeneration” doesn’t define how you think.

You know, your parents may have been taken in by PP, but I didn’t and many of my fellow Boomers didn’t. Pls quit blaming boomers for everything you don’t like

I can’t vote but if I could it would be The Names. One of the most imaginative books I’ve read in while. Really had trouble putting it down

I love how it captures the simple joys that winter can bring.

How the people of Ontario keep falling for Ford’s bribes and ignoring all the shit he’s doing to the province is beyond me

By fixed election date, does he just mean β€œwhenever he’s up in the polls”?

I think the last section of the summary is very telling - that political party supporters and how you feel about immigration seem to go together. Apparently conservative supporters don’t support current immigration. (Can’t say I’m surprised by this)

We can never let it happen. He’s always leaned toward fascism, but it’s getting more so all the time as he feels he has to contradict and bash everything the government does.

He’s always been about the car - no license fees etc. he doesn’t give a crap about you if you don’t drive everywhere

BC isn’t the only province. New Brunswick gives me an amazing amount of space to explore. And we have a pretty low population. One reason I’m glad I left Ontario.

I was once accused of having too much β€œCanadian stuff” in my playlist. No such thing as too much, imho. (This person wasn’t Canadian)

Maybe before we β€œindistrialized” we just didn’t know what autism was, or how to diagnose. Just like ADHD. Not necessarily new, just new to being diagnosed. Especially in girls.

I’m sure PP will win, but I hope the margin is low enough that the party dumps him when they have their review. The last guy won something like 80% of the votes. High bar to clear.

He says on Truth, and I’m paraphrasing, that the states are agents of the federal gov and must do as told by President.
