Someone told me that the name Kevin has connotations of the "ordinary person", and is meant to emphasise that the trains would be "for everyone" and for everyday use, not just for well-off people, business travellers, unusual trips, etc. The trains would be branded Ilisto.

Also, there is something odd with that loco. The loco 2216 which hauled the Khyber Pass trains in the later years was (is) a broad gauge HGS 2-8-0; the loco in the photo looks to be narrow gauge.
