Mayor Koch's comments are offensive and wrong and baseless.

I do appreciate his apology. But I want to make it clear that I completely reject his characterization of what the Church's child abuse scandal was actually about.

I understand why some of the members voted this way. But it is not how I would have voted. We can acknowledge the horror of the assassination without valorizing the legacy of his political project.

Yet another mistake vote from Rep. Lynch.

The Congressman voted against the ACA, voted for the Laken Riley Act, and has now voted for the DC Crimes Act - joining Republicans.

There is a pattern is here. He cannot and will not stand up to Trump and the MAGA right’s attacks.

I disagreed with Charlie Kirk on nearly every political issue. That doesn't matter. He was a human being, a father, an American peacefully advocating for his political views.

This country is not going to work if people cannot engage in that activity without fear of violence.

Absolutely sickening. Violence like this has no place in any American society, period.

Another tragic mass shooting means another wave of "thoughts and prayers" from Republicans in Congress who are bought and paid for by the NRA.

Until we get money out of politics, gun reform legislation will continue to be blocked. We need systemic change NOW to save lives.

ICE released this Mass. mom with no phone, 30 miles from home in the rain after detainment for a sealed marijuana conviction Federal authorities refused to tell the Canton woman's husband or lawyer on what grounds she was being detained until shortly before her release.

“We’ll notify next of kin if she dies."

Another disgusting, infuriating, and unwarranted detainment. ICE's deportation campaign is not making us safer. We need to stand up to this horrible racism and authoritarianism at every turn.
