It was pre-covid I'll grant you that, but I did in fact take calls. That's all I did. I like to consider myself a fairly emotionally resilient person. I spent 10 years in retail. I lasted a month at that call center. That's all I could stomach of the place.

Speaking as a former call center employee, it very much feels like the fair minded folk are vastly outnumbered by the shitlickers op is talking about. People are emboldened by percieved anonimity, so call center employees get them twice as often.

There's no way to spin this in a positive light. For shame.

-No more convergent evolutions. I love Toadscool, but effectively the only difference between it and "Paldean Tentacool" is the name. I get the idea, but "Regional Variant" achieves the exact same goal. There's no reason for one over the other.

-Something that facilitates indefinitely re-battling gym leaders/rivals/E4/Champion. Sw/Sh's Champion Tournament was a fantastic option for this, and I loved the invitational gimmick for doubles. Do that again! Maybe tie it to a new Battle Tower! Or bring back calling them directly via Rotom Phone!

-Toggle option for Exp Share. I'm personally indifferent either way, but making it an option is just good design.

-Voice Acting! The MC's in the last THREE GAMES(Arceus, Sc/V, Z-A)have had VO for exertion. Just do the Fire Emblem/Zelda thing! Fully voiced cutscenes and simple noises elsewhere!

-NO TWIST VILLAINS!

-Give us a proper Victory Road! Sc/V "Victory Road" was basically just Nugget Bridge. Don't do that.

-Make the E4 and Champion an actual challenge!

-Expand our clothing options! None of this 10 versions of the same 5 outfits bs from Z-A! And no locking us to a single uniform!

-Give us a post-game that actually facilitates exploration. Give us interesting challenges. The Z-A missions and Bluberry Academy challenges were a good start, but they need to be refined. Make taking pictures of wild Pokemon a bigger part of them.

-NO DAY ONE DLC! LET THE BASE GAME BREATH FIRST!

-Bring back secret bases!

-If you must bring back raid battles, make it a specific zone like the dynamax adventures or the safari zone.

-Either make gym levels scale with badge number or lock gyms until a certain badge number is obtained. It's okay.

-Bring back the GTS!

-Keep the obstacles from Legends Z-A(boulders, brambles, goop, etc).

-Bring back Contests! Use the X/Y Reels feature to let us make "routines" for Contests!

-No more free Legendaries/Mythicals! Even if they're central to the plot! If they are, make them late-game like Zekrom/Reshiram!

more than just our "super ultra best bud always on our side!" Please. A good balance between Nemona and Bede would be ideal.

-Bring back Ride Pokemon! Sun/Moon style, but give us the option to choose from a selection of our own Pokemon! Make a license system, and make us "register" our chosen mon!

-Keep the open world, but make all the major cities/locations their own instances. Have the smaller towns/locales as part of the open world.

-Give us an actual villainous team again with actual goals

-Keep mega evos!

-Rival doesn't need to be an asshole, but make them something

Boy howdy I'm legit torn on this one. On one hand, Eva is one of those properties that really needs to be laid to rest. The og was pure cinema. The rebuild was a cool AU but really unnecessary. On the other hand, Yoko Taro...

Maybe if they adapt Anima I'll be less torn.

They don't really make consoles like this anymore either. Nintendo sorta still does it, but not as frequently or creatively. The sterilization of technology is a travesty. Now if you want a console/pc with some life to it, you have to make it yourself. I miss when consoles were still seen as toys.
