’ve been captivated by retellings of Greek myths, especially those featuring figures like Helen and Clytemnestra. Yet, Iphigenia's story is often overlooked. Her sacrifice was essential for the voyage to Troy, and I want to give her a voice.

Why Iphigenia matters. Without her, there might not have been a war, as they may have lacked the strong winds needed to make their journey to Troy. Her sacrifice was meant to bring the winds, yet she is left without a voice! In my book, I give her the voice that she was denied.
