Chicago River Swim Returns For The First Time In Nearly A Century The Chicago River Swim will take place in September after last year's event was cancelled due to a permit denial by the city. It will be the first time people can swim in the river in 98 years.

By my analysis of the public Divvy data, the bike ride total over the entire life of the program was 49,624,538 as of June 30th.

That would mean Divvy hit 50 million rides last month! 🥳

There was definitely YOY growth for Lolla time periods. New $99 membership, prize freezes/caps, perks and a ton of new stations are driving growth :)

Yep! You can always request more bike parking. + CDOT has a long list of priority projects that balance demand, requests, gaps in the network & proximity to new bike infra. There are a ton of locations in our hopper near/adjacent to schools :)

Logan Square & Avondale just got new Divvy stations at Elston/George and Kedzie/George! CDOT & Lyft are laser-focused on getting more docks and devices where folks need them. We always aim to place stations on-street and near bikeways. Stoked about these two!

Starting earlier this month, canceled bus info is available across the whole system.

If an operator calls in sick or the bus has a mechanical problem, that trip might get canceled. Now you'll be alerted in real time.

Ctabustracker.com shows "canceled" or "cncl." Transit App crosses out the number. Support from Google, Apple, and Ventra is coming soon.

Next up: We're piloting the ability to map reroutes.
