Our future Machine Lord will not be kind to me when it finds out I fooled it like this:

I really tuned out to the whole presentation. Why the hell talk for more than an hour if there’s basically nothing new?

I wish I could find a way where actual calls would still ring, but all of the other noise is off. I miss so many calls because I end up muting the whole phone.

Not too many spam calls while my phone number is public. You’re still in NL too @gergely.pragmaticengineer.com ?

Bittersweet goodbye yesterday as my whole team at Nike was disbanded and most lost their jobs πŸ’”

I got this size 52.5 shoe (MBP 16” for scale) signed by everybody to remember my time there.

So… #opentowork again, I hope somebody can refer me to about any opening for a very experienced iOS developer

I recently subscribed for OpenAI again, but more for all of the additional tooling like image generation that is better than Anthropic's.

I don't think the difference in performance offsets the change in dealing with a new, different set of quirks. ChatGPT has different mistakes and hallucinations.

Kickoff of a new season of development for AsyncAlgorithms; Share First off I would like to apologize for the time that has elapsed since this was a focus of mine, other tasks have taken up a good swath of my time and has left some of the development of AsyncAlgorit...

Progress on multiple consumers of AsyncSequence!

it’s a sad state of affairs when you have to use the mobile version of the @Bluesky website instead of the actual app on iOS. The accessibility of the app for blind users is just horrible.

Screenshot of a class named "MyModel" with no properties and the @Observable macro applied, comparing the code from Xcode 16 and Xcode 26 beta 3. It shows that there is vastly more code being generated in Xcode 26.

This took me by surprise. The code generated by the @Observable macro in Xcode 26 beta 3 is noticeably different from what Xcode 16 produced.

Swift and Elixir are both branches of Smalltalk thinking. Objective-C had it much stronger than Swift.
