Yeah, definitely keep an eye out for office clearance furniture. Professional ergonomic chairs are hard to justify at full price, but if you find something like an Aeron or a Steelcase Leap in the $300-400 range, it'll be infinitely better than a similarly priced new chair.

Always worth checking used office furniture stores in your area. They might have refurbished Herman Miller or Steelcase operator chairs for way less than new ones
