My co-author and I have officially started writing my third book! I write the words and he provides emotional support plus the occasional keyboard sabotage at crucial moments.

Outlining a book is like planning a road trip. First, you start with a clear route. Then you add a few fun detours and suddenly you’re lost in the woods for two weeks with a dragon and have no idea how you got there.

I met my younger self for coffee today. I’m so proud of her and can’t wait to meet her again one day.

My synopsis writing process always goes through five emotional stages:

1. Denial (I don’t need one)
2. Anger (this is impossible)
3. Bargaining (can I just send the whole book?)
4. Depression (I’ll never be a writer)
5. Acceptance (fine, here’s a terrible one)
