A statement from the Witney Pride Committee Following the Supreme Court ruling on transgender women last week and Keir Starmer's additional comments yesterday, the Witney Pride committee has decided to refuse the Witney Labour Party's sponsorship. We, as a committee, are unanimous in our belief that the Labour Party has failed both the transgender and the wider LGBTQIA+ communities. We are in the process of returning the sponsorship money and removing any Labour logos from our promotional materials.
