That section of Wind and Truth where he was basically like “by the way I know she acts young but she’s definitely an adult” felt very bizarre to me

I do NOT ship Kaladin and Syl, and I would like for Sanderson to stop moving them in that direction. They work so well as a platonic, siblinglike relationship, and a romance between them just wouldn’t feel right to me

I guess the latest thing that man-children are mad about is that Witcher 4’s Ciri has aged and kinda looks like someone who’s had to fight to survive since they were quite young. 🕹️

It also has one of the more unsettling apocalyptic settings I’ve encountered, thanks in part to its surprisingly well-handled religious themes

Stumbled across Christopher Buehlman’s “Between Two Fires” while browsing Libby and I’m deeply impressed so far. He captures the human element of horror thanks to some really solid character work and it really heightens the fear whenever something horrific goes down

Been dying to play this one since it dropped. Always thought the first one was ridiculously underrated

I keep finding new reasons to prefer Bluesky to other social media options.

I have a love hate relatonship with the intricacy of Dark Souls’ level design. It’s deeply impressive but also such a pain to navigate. It’s also insane that there’s no fast travel for most of the game, though mods thankfully help with that bit if you’re on PC🕹️

Highly recommend it. The aesthetic is just gorgeous and the combat is so satisfying. In terms of level-design it tends to ape on Fromsoft a bit too much at times but it does have its own identity
