This is the best time to learn history. Will Durant was a great history teacher. Guys like Ken Burns and Lonnie Bunch are a godsend for us. Kudos out there to all teachers.

As a history buff, I was well aware of the American Revolution before Ken Burns did his thing. But, I have to say that his 12hour essay has been riviting.

Saving democracy is an individual job. One person, one vote, that culminate in a grand union of expression.

This sums up what the current adminstration is offering. All smoke and mirrors. The carnival flim flam man.

It doesn't take a genius to see that we are being governed by the most ignorant this country has ever had.

Democracy needs constant protection. Knowledge and participation are the key to its preservation.

This is how it started. This is how it's supposed to be. Who's serving who, now?

Bedrock. Wisdom and liberty are hand in glove. That's what so neat about our democracy.

Morality needs to be resurrected. That's the foundation of trust in our fellow citizens.

Ben didn't think that democracy would last. We need to prove him wrong.

To reawaken morality will go a long way to bolster our exercise of governing. Wearing the white hats is not enough.

We are the envy of the world, even though we have lost some luster in the present age. With a renewed effort we can recapture that shining example.

This country started with 100% participation, and remains so to this day. It's the only way it works.

All of the noise we hear about being woke is coming from ignorance. Ignorance is the road to hell.

A good feeling isn't going to cut it. Speak up, step out, and get physical. The future depends on us.

There are plenty of voices offering support. Just remember, we are the good guys. Stay strong.

One more warning. This is the road we cannot take. We must succeed.

Citizenship comes with responsibility. The best citizen is always the most aware and involved.

Words of encouragement from the past and present. Now, it's our turn to save democracy. The future is watching.

Morality has been trampled by those in power. Our culture has been eroded by the lack of virtue. We need to reinstill both to keep our freedom.

What was said 250 years ago is still true today. It's our history, our democracy.

We the people is how this country started. We the people is the only way it will continue.

Our Constitution was crafted from a common cause: a union formed by the desire for freedom and self rule. We are still in the process of forming a more perfect union.

Every generation has to pick up the mantle of democracy. It's the only way to keep it.

Our citizenship is in our DNA. We have what the rest of the world wants.

Our democracy has withstood assaults before, and will again. Liberty needs constant protection.

Awareness opens my soul to criticism. My wife will attest to my difficulty in admitting when I am wrong.

Living life deeply can only come from awareness. We have to be completely open and vulnerable to experience life.

Those of us who still believe in the Constitution have the responsibility to stay awake and stay the course.

Woke is the art of awareness. Being woke is a source of pride. It's the only way we can stay on the course for democracy.
