סביר מאד, לא מתווכח עם זה. אבל יש כל כך הרבה שאנחנו לא יודעים על מה שהלך שם ואני אוטומטית חושד כשכל המידע שיוצא מהחטופים בא מגורמים ישראלים רשמיים שדואגים למסר אחיד בלי שאלות ובלי תהיות. אני עדיין זוכר שהדובר של איכילוב פוטר אחרי שהוא ארגן לחטופה ששוחררה לדבר בחופשיות עם עיתונאים.

קשה מאד לדעת כי אין עיתונאים ברצועה וכמעט כל המידע שמגיע מהרצועה עובר דרך פילטר תעמולה של אחד הצדדים. אפשר להניח שכפי שלתעמולה הישראלית נוח לטעון שאין רעב ברצועה ואם יש זה בגלל חמאס, לתעמולת חמאס נוח להפגין שהם בשליטה ולא נפגעו מישראל. שני הצדדים לא ממש סופרים את האזרחים אלא בתור מכשירי תעמולה.

זה ברור שהם הורעבו וזה ברור שגם התעללו בהם. האפשרות שזה בא כנקמה של החוטפים על מה שישראל עשתה לעצירים ולאסירים או לחלופין בגלל דיאטת איילנד הכפויה באיזור שבו הם הוחזקו לא מצדיקה אבל גם לא סותרת.

Having ditched the Mac and gone back to running Linux I was forced to install Ubuntu 22 for workplace compliance.

First yes, Linux is vastly superior to MacOS. Second, having said that, the Ubuntu LTS two years cycle isn't working. It's outdated and outpaced by OSS development. It just feels old.

Just to elaborate on how bad the Mac OS is:

* No fractional scaling.
* It forgets window positions on monitors.
* You need a 3rd party tool to configure Alt+Tab.
* Ditto to configure windows sizing shortcuts.
* Too much eye candy.
* Bloody .DS_Store files.
* Only semi case sensitive.

Really bad.

Been using a M1 Pro MacBook as my work laptop for the past eighteen months and I cannot get over how bad the OS is. Complete disaster. Customization is hard, the workspace is cluttered, the window placing is non-intuitive. Hardware is great, would greatly benefit from a Linux version.
