Nice! Go with a all in one or 20 rimmed tank? And the chances are pretty low both are rated at 18k pounds. And the tank weighs in at like 600. And the joists would proably be fine, I just added them as a precaution. So if one of the two fails the second should hold.

Certainly how it went for me the apartments said no bigger than a 10 gallon but I had a 20 reef lol most people can't tell the difference of 10 gallons. Yea just had to instal a couple floor Jack's under the joists bellow the new tank. A quick hour project, 4Γ—4 two Jack's spanning under the tank.

Yea its a lot of work I actually transferred to another party of the county. Zoo's aren't the best paying long term. And nice what size is yours cycling? And this one is 50 gallons, I believe it's 40 display and 10 in the back chambers. And yea I had to add extra support under the floors for this!

It's harder to clean the filter areas, but I just use a stick and some tubing to siphon those areas clean. The build quality on them are fantastic, lots of options to customize the AIO.

I really enjoy their tanks, my first 20 AIO was a waterbox and honestly loved the simplicity of it! I used to work in the aquarium department at the local zoo and maintenance on all the bigger tanks with sumps made AIO a no brainer when I lived in a smaller apartment. They do have their drawbacks.
