I’m still in the #N-803 study towards a cure for HIV. The last injection was in May. In 4 months time, I stop taking my HIV meds and we’ll see if the viral load shoots up —what a sentence to write. Today’s leukapheresis went more smoothly than the first time; I’m glad it’s the last one.

Salesforce was an incredible journey, and after over 14 years, it’s gratifying to conclude my tenure there on my own terms, surrounded by positive energy from my colleagues. Here’s to my eagerly waited for — and if I may say so — well-deserved retirement!

What really struck me in this video is how the scientific and humanitarian revolutions reshaped our thinking: illness and disability aren’t punishments or moral failings. People deserve care, not blame. Healthcare is a right and not a privilege.

Seems rather harsh — aren’t there also tribes bound by rules that do aspire to kindness, doing unto others as you would have done, caring for elders, young and well, ill, and everything in between?

Sonoma has 3 locations for No Kings protests happening now. I’m proud and pleased to see how many of us are lining up and down on Highway 12 at Verano to stand up for democracy and against the fascist Trump and plutocrats at the helm of this country.

I’m so definitely joining the Saturday protests and beyond. This is my country too, and I won’t see it go to shit.

Day 0 (registration) for the final #aidslifecycle! A runway of mannequins with official t-shirts as homage to the previous events from the first California AIDS Ride to now. On the stage many Ride-lebrities and iconic participants including the chicken lady and Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.

My love of reading was instilled by my mother who never lost faith in my abilities. Last night in London we discovered Little Venice, a short stroll away from Paddington with houseboats and water fowl. What a neighborhood oasis in the middle of a bustling city and definitely not to miss.

No one gives someone a $400 million dollar jet for free without expecting anything in return. Be serious.

It’s a small step, and I’ve commented. Will you? I’m a big believer in the Federal Register’s past track record and hopeful that this effort matters.

Spending the past five weeks in France, working from the Salesforce Paris office, and indulging in a few days of playing tourist with my family and friends has been a dream come true. A goal for retirement is to spend a month in a different place each year, and this trial was a resounding success.

The system is great for transporting the crowds. Woe be to those who ignore the warning horn and get caught in the closing doors…
