On one hand, I think Chrono Trigger needs nothing. It's perfect as-is. What value would a remake bring? On the other hand 👀👀👀

I would just point out that the DLC's are all different characters' perspectives. The main game leaves out stuff that Noctis doesn't know. It would be nice if the game guided players to go through those at the last camp fire though, I get that.

The narrative is simple and clear, it's told from Noctis's perspective. The rest is world building that's helpful for context or fun to get into if you're a fan. At least as of Royal Edition, the main game is a complete story.

I feel like this is the whole point of Final Fantasy as a series. Each one asks you to go in with an open mind. Each numbered entry reinvents itself, they're not just tweaking a formula.
