Anger and division cause tensions in our communities, dividing us and tearing the social fabric of our society. It harms us all.

That’s why we’ve signed this open letter with over 100 organisations calling on the new Home Secretary to unite communities.

With the return of Parliament, and against the backdrop of yet more attempts to divide us, we need to come together as a community.

We are very concerned about this government's plan, LGBTQI+ people already face huge barriers to finding safe housing.

This reduction in move-on period risks forcing them into homelessness and unsafe situations, at the moment they are trying to rebuild their lives.
