NC doesn't play with alienation of affection cases and they've been trying to get it off the books for years. I worked with someone in the 90s, that had an affair with a coworker that the husband sued for alienation of affection.

Exactly. For years I've told people there is a difference between being alone and being lonely. You can be alone and not be lonely. They need to do some inner perspective work.

As a middle aged white woman who has been alone most of her life. The issue really isn't even loneliness for white men. The real issue is they are alone. And will continue to be alone because people are starting to see what they are and it's not good. Why would anybody need that in their lives?

My elderly parents are on a fixed income. They love their coffee though. Nothing too fancy, just Maxwell House. Since May, it's gone from $10.99, $13.99, $15.99 and $17.99. I bulked it when it was on sale. But that is insane. $7 in not even 3 full months.

Kind of makes sense now.
