I'm trying to dial in a stable OC on my 9950X3D before I dedicate any return to streaming. I know what's safe, but now I want to find out what the limit is. The system will randomly freeze if things aren't stable, hence why I want to find that point first.

Yes, stock is fine, but that's boring.

More than ever I'm convinced people are arguing for the sake of arguing, not because they actually believe the thing they're fighting about. It's all performative and exhausting and I don't understand any of it.

Y'all can fight. I'll deal with what I can control and tinker with my updated PC.

By close calls, I mean people merging into lanes already occupied, cutting people off, and especially the running of red lights. And most of it has been on the highway, which is real scary. I don't know what's going on, but y'all need to chill.

Fully convinced my demise will be because of a phone.

Feels like something extra has been in the water the last several days. I've seen more close calls while driving in the last week than I can remember in a very long time, and today I nearly got rear-ended. Naturally, most of the time at least one person involved is on their phone, but not always.

I guess it's good that the rapture didn't happen yesterday (again) as it gave me the chance to finish the main Borderlands 4 story. It would've been a real shame if I had missed that opportunity.

In any case, solid experience overall and look forward to end game stuff now.

I just canceled mine. Was already considering it because of the $20 price increase for the yearly plan, but this recent situation pushed me to make the decision.

Is today the day I finally return to streaming?

It's entirely possible.

I wasn't bothered by 3, but get why so many people have feelings about it. Very much enjoying 4, but still very early in the game.

Hope you get better soon. I bruised my tailbone years ago and that shit hurt for months. I can't imagine how it feels with it broken.

Getting to work right as the internet seemingly cuts out is an ominous start to the day.

Took me way too long to give DaVinci Resolve a try and I'm almost definitely going to cancel my Adobe Premiere Pro sub because the free version does exactly what I need and maybe even more. It's also way less laggy than Premiere Pro has been for the last couple of years.

Now that my two month lingering cold is finally starting to fully lift away, I've had my two most productive days in a very long time yesterday and today. There's still more to do, but the bulk of it is done and it feels good. Now to catch up on all my video editing projects I've ignored.

Gotcha. I personally took WAY too long to even give Breath of the Wild a legit chance, not because of frame rate, but because I was stubborn. I did spend a little bit of time in Tears, but will probably wait until I can afford a Switch 2 to continue.

I never minded it on the original Switch (but get why many didn't want to bother with it), but man, seeing the way both it and Breath of the Wild look on the Switch 2 is going to be THE reason I end up buying one eventually.

Luckily, I have a replacement and because of them being part of the Uni fan family, they're easy to swap out. That doesn't make it any less disappointing. Will likely switch them all to the Infinity Uni Fans at some point down the road.

Lian Li's TL LCD fans are fancy, but the longevity of them has proven to be less than stellar, which is a real disappointment given how much they cost. One pretty much died within the first year of ownership, and now a second one is clearly biting the dust after a year a and a few months.

Gonna stay home, cook some burgers, and play video games. And agree with everything you stated.

YouTubers, I am begging - please either go easy on the flashing effects or put a warning like I’ve been seeing more of on platforms like TikTok. Having a seizure knock me out bc of a 5-sec bit that in no way needed the flashing effects really sucks. People die from seizures every day. It’s scary.

I started playing Minecraft around 13 years ago, yet it still manages to captivate me after all this time. It just fills the gap so nicely when I'm unsure what I want to play.

Every time I think I can start enjoying PC tech again, someone has to do something dumb. Nvidia is really on some bullshit right now, aren't they?
