I did not appreciate Grounded For Life as a child.
As an adult- I find it to be one of my favorite shows.

I fight for a world of naps. Books and video games too- but mostly naps.
I did not appreciate Grounded For Life as a child.
As an adult- I find it to be one of my favorite shows.
Still looking for voice actresses to audition!
Please hit me up if you're interested! The project is another X Minutes!

Halo 3's release was a wild time
07.10.2025 06:35 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Yes, it has been a handicap for most of our previous campaign (we're now going through the Mad Mage's Dungeon) but this is the one scenario where I just enjoy it so much.

They always have a certain line of dialogue.
:D
Sunday D&D was fun. Turns out after a certain point- a Monk's "Deflect Attacks" combined with Heavy Armor Master makes you essentially immune to damage from low CR enemies.
"The Bugbear hits you with his morningstar."
"How much damage does he do?"
"15."
"Sorry, you need to do at least 17."
The movie that's solo-responsible for people not hating Rufus for the rest of forever
07.10.2025 04:17 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0No service worth a trillion dollars does it's damndest to shove its service for free into every program- unasked for and unneeded.
06.10.2025 06:38 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I personally never use it- I just tan. I need to be blasted fairly directly by the sun without moving for an hour to burn.
Others though? Pure laziness to even use the stuff *despite* burning. Or disbelief it helps because our sunscreen was really weak for a long time.
Also the Cops Actually Are Bastards
The law system was interesting but implemented poorly
I'd watch it
I'd watch the hell out of it
(Shrug)
They hate right up until the game comes out and proves the hate wrong. At which point they suddenly stop bitching about it and find a new target.
Just enjoy the title and mock the amount of time they waste being haters. That's time they don't get back.
I actually have a grey goo fanfic I hope to start putting some more words in now that we've hit the spooky month again.
I'd always imagined a slower version of, "Hark! The Herald Angels Sings" could be properly intimidating for a horror monster- or at least mine.
DnD fun mid-battle

My character doesn't know what to do!
Me:
Follow your heart.
Player:
My heart says you need help the most.
Me (6 levels above the rest of the party):
Your heart's an idiot- don't listen to it.
That really needs to be a political sign in 2026.
"Prices up? Jobs down?"

"Say thank you."
Digital illustration of Edward and Alphonse Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist in a field of flowers at dusk. Ed is fast asleep with a book still in his hand, leaning back against his brother, who is sat the other way, gazing up at the stars and the moon.
The Elrics enjoying a moment of rest <3

"Republicans are fucking sociopaths"
I resent that remark.
They're haters- pure and simple. It's ridiculously common for Republicans to say heinous shit and the moment you get them to actually think about it- the shame does kick in.
It just doesn't last. The GOP conditions it not to.
We're at the point where peeps have been with companies way too long and have to justify their jobs with, "Look, let's improve the logo".
And it's not an improvement.
"Helldivers aren't grunts!"
I swear the people who say that shit only know the military through the lens of video games and movies.
And yeah the mortality rate is something the game keeps updated live so of course I needed to do some math to prove a point.
Oops- I only read the text. Wrong scene.
He did the bit where Goodman goes to Kate's house to try and date her.
I enjoyed the movie but nowhere near as much as one of my brothers.
Dude actually dubbed over this entire scene for a school project- all three characters from start to finish.
Reading Rainbow is back Saturday!
For those who don't know- Reading Rainbow has had two separate intros in its time:
The first- emphasizing more the fantasy idea of what books provide.

The second- emphasizing more the learning idea of what books teach.

Probably Jade Cacoon or Azure Dreams.
There were other games I've played but those two touched the monster-tamer in my heart.
Unfortunately, I don't think it's that.
I think a lot of people really enjoy that there's a group (or several) they're given freedom and even encouragement to hate and enjoy the suffering of.
Because they generally have no issue believing the rich screw them. This view isn't incompatible to them.
A pixel art scene of the Pokemon Gyarados at the Lake of Rage. Top down view. There is a sunset happening in the back. A fishing hut is seen in the lower right. A mountain range is seen behind the lake. At the shoreline, a trainer and their Meganium can be seen, ready for battle.
I don't repost stuff often enough

This is an ORIGINAL Dark Magician appreciation post.
Bro has so much more menace and aura than his green counterpart we have now. ๐๐ค๐ฏ
I actually think Vince McMahon sounded more intimidating in a suit- and him being the angry but useless management was INTENTIONAL.

43
People need to stop worrying about teens/early 20s people learning about themselves (trans, they/them, anything else) and start worrying about vanilla middle-aged guys who want to buy sex from kids.
You'll know him when you see him. Just freely smack the hell out of him each battle for free xp.
