My dream is to teach a yearlong Proust seminar for aspiring fiction writers. First three volumes in the fall, last four in the spring. I'd teach it alongside Barthes' The Preparation of the Novel and Camera Lucida. Absorb the moods and patterns of the sad French boys.

I think the author of this piece and/or others at Brevity should let us know if anyone there has personally invested in any AI companies. This reads like pure boosterism.

Way too many people out there who want to Be A Writer but don't actually want to write.

I think the only point of "writing" this way is "to have produced a text." If you don't like or can't do the actual work of writing, just do something else with your time. Jesus.
