i think a lot of what goes wrong for people in the draft, especially people who are plugged into the day-to-day of CFB, is that the most memorable stuff (Maye's bozo plays at UNC) kind of bully everything else out of your memory. Most of the argument against maye was just a lowlight with "LMAOO"

yeah there's probably a good correlation, but i'll say there were worse injury bug years like 2016 that didn't go as bad

this is team level EPA btw and the 2025 Vikings have a better defense than 2011 or 2014, it's more staggering the more you look at it

it's not just epa either, this is, by pretty much any measure THE WORST OFFENSE YOU HAVE SEEN IN YOUR LIFE

it's correct to adjust your expectations for youth and growing pains, so let's compare this year to a couple other ones where the vikings did that

Coming back to earth after say 2017 or 2000 felt pretty bad but could be explained on the field by injuries, bad transactions, or whatever.
