As corporations fall in line, recognize they never held these principles in the first place. They were marketing strategies and protections against lawsuits or boycotts.

We have to move beyond looking for businesses to fight for us and recognize we’re in a class war and have to fight for ourselves.

It's damn telling how fast corporate America quit diversity.

Seems like those marginalized people who've been telling us about racism, sexism, bigotry, bias, and exclusion might have been right all along.

Haven't been on BlueSky for a while, so here's a quick catch-up: went on a hike last summer for the first time in years, got Christmas lights up for the first time since becoming a homeowner in 2021, my cat fought a toilet paper tube, and I caught a nice rainbow. 🌈🐈‍⬛🎄🏃🏻‍♂️

I play a lot of Firefight in Halo Infinite. This morning I was only 3 kills short of the combined total of the other 3 on my team. I had 241; they had 244. 😅

Today marks 10 years since I walked off BYU campus the last time as I got excommunicated from Mormonism, expelled from BYU, fired from my on-campus job, and evicted from student housing for dating guys in violation of BYU's "Honor Code." My mom was the nark, but I have since made peace with her. 🏳️‍🌈

My BYU student loans are paid off! 10 years since my excommunication, and my last financial tie to the Mormon cult is finally gone!

This morning is the 10th anniversary of coming out of the closet to my folks. They did not react well at the time, but my life has become so much more authentic ever since!

(Thursday nights are essentially my Saturday mornings for my night shift ass, so yay!)

Green: I paid a terrible price for what I brought into this house. At home, Green is marvelling at a little shiny red package on the table, still narrating. The omnious airs are still radiating from the package. Green: A distinct miasma shrouds it - the scent of unnatural forms of decay. Green continues to narrate, eyes on the package, as Blue calls to him from outside of the panel. Green, still narrating: The product of ancient arts - dare I even unseal it? Blue: What's that smell? Green looks at Blue, who looks at the little red package in pure disgust. Green: Fancy cheese. Blue: Eeeugh.
