I don't disagree with the sentiment - there certainly is a battle for the soul of the country. But Starmer's handling of the issue has been wrong on so many counts - too little, too slow, ineffective language, no real plan, & worst of all, aping the sentiments/actions of Reform.
WE NEED IMMIGRANTS!

We need dialogue between the factions. Without dialogue the divisions will only deepen.

Thanks - That’s an interesting perspective that I am not aware of. But what about the week of demonstrations The Big One in 2023? Is MSM managerialism really behind our limited access to information? Who decides that what happens at the weekend deserves the b-team?

Over 60,000 people march on parliament in June demanding politicians Restore Nature Now and hardly a mention on the news. A demonstration of 13,000 landowners yesterday is wall-to-wall MSM. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I will be interested to see the results of David Gauke’s sentencing review. I know more about the post court part of the system, and without changes to sentencing prisons will remain overcrowded and therefore ineffective.
