It's a 100 year old house so we were joking who knows what ancient unknown to science fungi might spring up from that wood

We bought a house that had been flooded for a full year. My partner says he thinks he saw one like this in the basement. We didn't take any pictures when it was flooded because it felt too gross to get our phones out, been wondering for the longest time what "super weird mushroom" he saw down there

It doesn't look like a fungus or mold to me. I'm no expert but I do mushroom hunt from time to time.

I have seen fence designs with an angled overhang, like a prison fence, that makes it harder for them to climb into the garden.

I am against polyester in bedsheets. Beyond that, I'm not entirely sure whats what.

I got 100% linen sheets and I love them. Thought I'd rotate them with the 100% cotton, but so far I only use the linen.

It was founded after national chain groceries left the area, rendering it a food desert. Now the community is empowered to always have essentials nearby, and any profit benefits local workers and member-owners directly.

My town is so fortunate to have a co-op grocery store, run by neighbors for the benefit of the community. I really think this is the model of the future for essential goods.
