Good example of data used to criminalize immigrants even when it argues the opposite. Undocumented immigrants make up 3% of the US population but 0.008% of those arrested (2/264). The article suggests they are criminals (and worse) despite providing a much lower population rate of criminality.

Two additional quick notes on masks:
1) ICE is wearing masks while the White House forces universities to end mask mandates so they can identify student protestors;
2) ICE has started to use an app on their phones to identify migrants via face recognition, which won't function if they wear a mask.

Straight out of the playbook we saw during the BLM movement: criminalize one person. Cause a protest. Criminalize protestors. Justify more arrests and more violence.

UM has something like a 55% indirect cost rate. Cutting it to 15% is going to be catastrophic, both for research infrastructure and for everyone whose job is paid for by those grants. Once again, Trump's policies will hit the working class first and hardest.
