Yes, the default Claude personality is the “golden retriever” which will “you’re absolutely right” you until you tell it otherwise

It’s so bouncy and eager to please and will “absolutely” lead you down a dead alley in the pursuit of pleasing you.

How do you have the LLM stay “on task” with the persona? I often find it defaults back the the “golden retriever” default persona unless relentlessly prompted each time

I’m in this boat, currently it’s a progressive change on the team, so, PR changes something, it’s not Svelte 5 syntax “please convert this to Svelte 5 syntax”

There’s a _lot_ of files in the project, running the CLI _may_ be an option now we’ve migrated the critical path 🤔
