2)I don't know how I missed it. I always clear all my unread notifications as soon as I can, and if it's a text, I read it and reply as soon as I can. But I missed it.

8 years ago today, I had no idea that I'd get an "I love you" text from my Mom for the last time, or that I'd miss it because my phone was turned down during a movie, or that I wouldn't see it until the next day hours after receiving the call that she was gone.

My middl'n is the only one who made it to 36 weeks (he was actually 37 on the dot), still ended up with asthma & underdeveloped physically - still catching up.
The rest were stereotypical preemies - they WERE preemies.

This birthday Bird woke up while i was at the vet with Twix 🥹 then i got home & got a hug from the Heck's goofy self while i shoveled lunch in my face to fuel up. Couldn't post right away because it was sledding time! Thankful to be able to adventure with this kiddo. Lucky indeed. My heart is full 💛

Twelve years ago today, at about 10am US Central Time...I wasn't supposed to be up, but I had to pee! And do too much sorting of baby stuff.. I shouldn't have done it! also...proof of the blonde for those disbelievers.
