Forgot to post it the other night because I was tired and headachey, but just before I went to sleep, I decided to open up Pokemon GO to see what was around and I got a shiny I've been wanting for ages 😍

Dad took Rosco to the bakery again this morning. In addition to his usual party pie and the foam from Dad's cappuccino, the lady working there brought out a frothaccino (literally just a cup of coffee foam) specifically for the dog haha

I need to give these a go. I still have some leftover cornmeal from when I made cornbread a few weeks back and had no idea what to do with it

(I mean he did get some cheese in the end, because I am powerless against those eyes lol)

A bountiful harvest with my Gardenhound today. Lots of tomatoes and a few nice strawberries, a shitload of silverbeet and my first beetroot! Also a few yellow beans buried somewhere under the silverbeet.

My Ebb Tide rose has put out a bloom bonanza. I just wish the camera showed their colours better; they’re a deeper purple and less pinkish than they look in this photo.

I'm glad I can just buy it outright instead of having to have a subscription to 'borrow' it. I wish the Zelda Oracle games had been given the same treatment. I had the original Game Boy ones and bought them again on 3DS but I would absolutely triple dip on those.

They are a plague here. They spread like a bushfire and are an absolute pig of a thing to remove.

Planting agapanthus in this day and age should be punishable with jail time. What an absolute bastard of a plant lol

I quite like silverbeet so I’m not too bothered, though it is further proof that if you plant silverbeet one year, you’ll grow it again every year… whether you want to or not 😆

Some of what I thought were beetroots growing in my raised garden bed among the carrots were in fact silverbeet; they’ve likely come up from old soil that was left in there from last year before we topped it up with potting mix at the start of this season.

When we still had Rex (our previous German Shepherd) I got home from uni one day while my parents were overseas and couldn't find Rosco. Eventually found him trapped in the loo. He clearly hadn't been in there that long because he seemed slightly bewildered but otherwise calm.

My ~4-year-old laptop is still limping along on Win10 but I'm not sure how well it will run Win11 (it's compatible but that OS is such a memory hog). I dread having to get a new machine :\

For me it was running around as Spyro and flamethrowing sheep and then gliding around everywhere lol

Tie between The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor and Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull. I chose those two when it was my turn to pick the movie for my friend group’s weekly cinema outings and after those I (quite justifiably) wasn’t allowed to pick the movies any more.

I went into the kitchen to get a cup of tea just now, and there was a curled up dead huntsman on the floor. So I got some paper towel to pick him up and put him in the bin...

Yeah, it turned out Kaspersky was the problem. I added the Slack workspace URLs to its trusted URLs section and now it works fine. Seems an odd thing for them to block though (I've never had any issues with that AV previously).

I assume it's a loss prevention thing and fair enough if they want to watch people to deter stealing but they could be far less obnoxious about it. A few timesI've actually got so annoyed with their harassment I've walked out without buying whatever it was I went in to buy.

I think the ones who annoy me the most are the ones who constantly hover right behind you asking if you need help and making suggestions about whatever you're looking at, and refuse to leave you alone when you say "I just want to look for now, if I need help I'll come and find you."
