I always knew 35 would be significant, I just didn’t know how. The transformation is almost complete.

The month of rebirth.

There’s healing in the breaking.

I somehow have Sympathy Magic, The Old Religion, and Florence’s Which Witch/Abracadabra mix all stuck in my head at the same time.

Beautiful lyrics, beautiful voice.

Sympathy Magic feels triumphant, like going through a brutal battle and making it out the other side with strength you never knew you had. Both songs give a sense of profound healing. Truly beautiful.

Everybody Scream definitely feels different to Florence’s previous albums. Sympathy Magic and The Old Religion are my top two songs from it. The Old Religion is haunting and heartbreaking, full of devastating grief and deep sorrow.

God this song has devastated me.

It’s been very cathartic. Amazing how music can help us work through things. Taking a break now though.

Worn out from crying.

An emotional hangover.

Still have The Old Religion on repeat. So beautiful it hurts.

Now that the album is out I feel a deep sense of calm. Will be spending the day listening to it. A true work of art.

Sleep feels far away.

My heart will never be whole.

So much grief.

I was never really going to sleep through this album’s release. It’s just as beautiful as I knew it would be. Currently listening to The Old Religion on repeat and crying my eyes out.

My dark decade is almost over.

Everybody Scream coming out right before my birthday month is wonderful. Best gift ever!!

But will I even be able to sleep if I know the album is out? I think I’ll compromise. Take my meds. Go to bed like normal. If sleep doesn’t come then it’s a sign.

Of course I could do both! My mood will be fucked if I don’t sleep though.

Florence’s new album is out tonight at midnight. I have two choices: stay up and listen to it all night, or wait until tomorrow and listen to it outside in nature. I know which one I should choose, but it won’t be easy.

The rain is here and my mood has settled.

Sometimes I’m hesitant to share my achievements and progress in case it makes someone else feel bad.

Six months sober today.

Yesterday was super busy. My mood is elevated and I’m having trouble getting to sleep. Taking it very slow today.
