I hope someone has told you this, but you’re worth more than anything you ever do to make a living. Life is far bigger than being stuck limited in definition, by an account number and a title.

We weren’t made to find our worth in these things; that’s why the more I’ve owned, the sadder I’ve been.

I’ve stood by in hospital stays and have pushed him back to health; I’ve fought legal cases against negligence and fraud for him, and I’ve seen him lose his feeling of worth only to show him what it’s like to stand on an empire.

In it all, I get to fall in love again, with his wonderous heart.

I love watching when he gets passionate, creative, and excited about what he loves again. I’ve held this man’s hand when he has felt discouraged and lost his way; I’ve weathered his storms and built him back up. I’ve protected him from shit business partners, and have built businesses for him.

I could not be more excited for, or proud of my husband. No marriage is perfect, and if they tell you they’re always “best friends”, that cheesy shit is called lying. We’re not always best friends. We are always partners on the same team that work together though—and he will always have my six.

The Department of Homeland Security still has not explained why they are arresting and detaining American citizens. It’s unjustifiable.
