Social media is so bad for sharing music. Visual artists can post their work and you can immediately see it and judge if it's something you like or not. Music requires so many extra steps of following a link and devoting a few minutes of attention.

This is what I've always done. I've never written anything to specifically be liked by other people, I've made music that I wanted to make. And I don't plan to ever deviate from that!

Also, if "certain groups" ironically celebrating and listening to Rage Against the Machine and Bruce Springsteen songs has shown me anything, it's that people aren't really paying to attention what is being said. They just care about the hook and catchy phrases.

I'm not sure they would? When you really pay attention to the lyrics that ends up being the topic of a HUGE portion of all songs out there!

Who asks for someone's number anymore? If someone calls and I don't recognize it I don't answer it. If I really wanted to keep contact with someone I'd give them my Discord or something!

I'm not sure manipulated is the right word for what I'd feel, but if they can't put the slightest effort into actually talking to me then it's an instant deal breaker.

I know a bit about horses, and I'd have to say that realistically spooking any police or military horse is incredibly difficult. They're trained to deal with things where other horses would turn and run instantly. For them a horse that spooks at the sound of a firework/grenade/cannon isn't helpful.

This is the first weekend in a while I got more than I expected to done. I needed to remember how nice this feels for when I'm otherwise depressed and unmotivated!

I spent so much of my high school sitting at a computer in the library sneaking onto Newgrounds and Addicting Games. The internet was better when flash games reigned supreme!

I've made the conscious decision to switch to Linux for my next PC. Which may be soon because I refuse to upgrade to Windows 11 (I have programs and projects that I don't believe will work properly on 11, plus I just dislike it immensely).

There are no words to accurately describe the amount of dislike I have toward Microsoft Teams.
