There's more of a focus on communities so it might make sense to try to charge community hosts, but I think it's hard to see an even harder to use Bluesky succeed. Mastodon also makes it risky for authors and hard to imagine creators wanting to invest in a platform like that.

Secondary sources are shortcuts for LLMs to not do the thinking themselves. But then they are laundered through the perceived impartiality of an AI that isn't checking them.

I’m going to be going back to the tape of that Zoning Board meeting because there were some spicy moments. I never thought a debate over the definition of Accessory could be so riveting.

I was living in NYC and 9/11 like the Great Recession or Covid for others defined my adulthood. It all feels so impossibly distant now. What came after is up for debate, but it's hard to imagine now the unity that was felt across political lines. Crime even took a vacation for two months.

Interesting: Stumbled upon a ChatGPT 5 mode that seems to attach a confidence to each statement. It prompted me if I wanted to do this and saved it to memory.

I wonder what the confidence represents. Always a chance the LLM is just trying to please, but seemed like a programmed mode to me.

Google's AI mode is *really* fast. Google is good at what they are good at.

Next step, universal routing? It's nice if it's not a complicated query but I do think I would prefer it think harder if it's not simple and also go to search and skip the AI if it seems like that was the intent.
