πŸ“£ If you are an IDSA member and you agree that they need to change course, make your voice heard. Your silence is perceived as tacit approval!

Write on the listserv (can be literally a couple sentences), email the BODs, or both. #IDSky

If you are an adult who must drink raw milk, for the love of everything sacred please do not give it to your child and if for whatever misguided reason you choose to, please at least boil the raw milk.

Picture of two children exposed to same source of smallpox. One (unvaccinated) is covered in rash the other (vaccinated) has no rash. This is a genuine photograph that was taken in the early 1900s by Dr. Allan Warner of the Isolation Hospital at Leicester in the UK. Warner photographed a number of smallpox patients in order to study the disease.

Vaccines work and do not cause autism. I will die on this hill.
These two boys had been exposed to the same smallpox source. The boy without a rash had been vaccinated, the one covered in rash hadn't been vaccinated.
A global vaccination campaign led to eradication of smallpox globally by 1980.

Invitae does a Mendelian Inheritance of Mycobacterial Diseases panel. I’ve been able to get their panels covered by insurance for almost all my patients on whom I’ve sent them. Also agree with those who have suggested Steve Holland, as he’s probably looking at a wider repertoire of genes.
