So I just found out my whenever my dad was eating Vienna sausages and sharing them with my cat. He trained him how to recognize what a tinned can of Armour Vienna sausages™ looks like.

I always wondered why none of the humans in Viva Pinata ever made it into the cartoon. What about the humans who helped maintain the pinata ecosystem, they were important too.

If resources for infectious disease survivors like measles and polio had been normalized like they are for cancer or depression, things might have been different back then, and it might have made coping with the present a little easier.

Looking back, the fear of getting meningitis again was mostly forgotten during my twenties. But COVID reminded me of that fear, and ongoing stress from things like bird flu and RFK Jr. made it clear how hard managing mental health can really be.

Yet your patience and steady perspective even when I was acting difficult during the past helped me start facing it. I probably wouldn’t have made it this far without that.

Sometimes, though, no matter how well-intentioned we are, we can’t reach everyone. That doesn’t mean your efforts aren’t meaningful it just means some things are beyond anyone’s control.

I swear I remember being like six maybe seven years old and walking into my dad listening Pink Floyd's Money. I swear I thought he was watching Are You Being Served.

I basically learned about Monty Python through my dad. And then there was that wonderful window to the world, PBS WQED, Mr. Rogers, and British broadcasting.

I didn’t live through the 80s, but my dad did. My perspective is secondhand, he always loved talking about seeing a Twisted Sister concert he saw in Pittsburgh PA.

As I said before, nothing lasts forever. Even political movements end, and MAGA is way too smug to understand that its time will run out just like everything else.

That's the thing about MAGA. I'm glad everything has a lifespan. What's the lifespan of a star, a planet, the universe, a civilization, a politician?

Still wondering how they manage to hate every single day. It takes so much energy. Do you know how much it takes me just to type this sentence? I barely have the strength to argue anymore. If I have to die, I just want to try and make the world a bit better before I leave it.

Giving "Life, The Universe and Everything" another shot someone on Tumblr a good argument. So I don't like the flying bits which in my opinion just mangle the story, but I can find other parts that resonate with me.

Isn't that usually the signals those types of people send when go doing this. It's always about fear, power, and intimidation.

They wanna make things like humor, books, and imagination less appealing so people stop picking them up.

Then again they are just miserable people.

The guidebook is widely published and yet only humans seem to learn the 'knack for flying.’

That “moment of distraction” that humans stumble into is treated like a rare, almost magical phenomenon, yet Adams never explains why it’s not universal among aliens.

Usually when people can fly there’s a tech-based explanation. You know, a suit, a vehicle, or alien biology to justify it.

Apparently flight is some kind of semi-magical ability, arbitrary skill that only works due to ‘the moment of distraction.’

Aliens should be using the aid of alien technology to fly or be aliens that have the special ability to fly.

Cybernetics, power suits, spacecraft, etc.

This is why I have no motivation to read the rest of the other novels.

Ford, if flying was well known, why didn’t you do that during the first two novels? Wouldn’t it have helped Ford find those UFOs he was so desperately trying to find during the first novelization?

Knowing MAGA they'd probably eat infected birds to prove 'bird flu' isn't that bad.

"Immunity through infection" if it wasn't for those stupid measle and chicken pox parties we'd probably take infections more seriously.
