I have no idea what this show is about, so based on what people look like, I'm going to guess:

One of them is the "murderer" -- and somebody gets killed off each week -- but if you can figure out who the murderer is before they kill you, then you win a Spiegel catalog and a box of rice-a-roni.

I wouldn't know what overthinking is like either, LOL. It's just like... why? Why do I want to spend days or weeks on something when I could give a problem five minutes of thought, be done with it, then go for a hike or something. Problems don't deserve my time - fun things do.

I've never given more than 5 minutes to any decision. It's better for mental health. When my dad passed away 11 years ago (I'd moved back in to help) and the bank was gonna foreclose, I texted a lawyer asking if he had any houses for rent. He did. I said I'd take it - unseen. Still there.
