a 1/18 scale Joy Toy Space Wolf confronts a 3d printed 'Chuck' dreadnaught

side project to keep me busy- another designer had made a cool RT era Dreadnaught and I converted it into a 1/18 scale version with ball and socket and hinge joints to go with my Joy Toy figures... (ball/socket version of the files are unavailable as I dont own the rights to the OG model- sorry)

Not been posting lately as I took the week off my next project and farted around with a pet project of a friend (turn a stl figure he had into an action figure with ball and socket joins). In all honesty Im not sure Im going to enjoy social ANYTHING much less media seeing the state of the world...

Looks great! Honestly all 3d design is at its heart is perseverance- put enough time and effort in and you eventually get the desired results

nyc went from “mask up” to “you do you” to “masks need to be banned” and now people think this is a joke.

I just hope with all my being that they are the Jonas Salk types otherwise that treatment wont be cheap or readily available in a landscape dominated by for profit health care

3d sculpted character in a 3d environment (Blender) -If I use a rake to pick up these leaves it will take all day. This just wont do at all... -There comes a time in every mans life- -where his problems can only be solved with a ray gun.

My take on a iconic character. I wouldnt say he is my hero, I think if anything my 'hero' of that genre setting would be either Doc Hammer or Jackson Publick - love what they created

I finally complained enough that her neurology appointment has been bumped from 2 years to 6 months to 2 months- so at least we will get better answers sooner?

Another one of my short comics- these were more tests of concept than actual stories. My previous comics were done by shooting the physical miniatures and then photo editing and I wanted to see if this was any easier (its not lol- both take substantial efforts to do)

Yes, most of us know more than your doctor about long covid. That's not hubris talking. That's facts.

“Don’t feed the trolls” also extends to bad opinion pieces in papers of record.

They run them bc people react to them the most.

If we stop linking to bad columns and instead post thinkers we find valuable (& generate convo around it), incentives change.

It’s not easy and takes constant practice!
