I hope this is to disconnect from Sal rather than cover his thieving tracks, but likewise I understand the awkward predicament Sal has dragged his morally-sound peers into by association so I can't fault them for deleting the post.

I've been terrified about this whole situation for a lot of reasons, but beyond it all I worried maybe I'm the bad guy. I've been scared of having people I really care about and respect so much (like you!) see this and think I'm the bad one here. Your words are a huge weight off my shoulder.

I don't want to focus on this aspect for now, but as I've said before, feel free to ask any questions about it and I will gladly answer.

I just want to reiterate what Fluure said and emphasise that Sal was incredibly disrespectful to the people of Japan and the customs of their culture.

I've been focused on the objective facts of the financial burden Sal has caused to myself and my friends, but we have hundreds of stories upon stories about how disrespectful he was to not only us, but to Japan, its culture, and the local communities there.

Sal was INCREDIBLY disrespectful.
