This week I've spent a lot of time thinking about the readability of powerup deactivation effects- I want it to be easy to tell what's going on when everything else is exploding.

I wonder what on earth would have inspired them to think that.

Maybe they think AI tooling makes it easy and aren't worried about ever making money?

Ok, I guess I'll make one too- 10 games to get to know me.

Kind of a weird collection of stuff I think, but all 10 of these things have had a really profound effect on me, either purely as works of art or how I look at games as a medium.

I'm partial to "We know you're (not) robots" myself, but they're all crazy good!

Might not help your exact use case, but there is a WaitForSecondsRealtime() for exactly this reason

It's so crazy how the comics, animation, and video games industries are wildly popular billion dollar profit type shit and yet there is no money and no jobs for the people who make that possible
