An old comic of mine back from when I had just binged SPOP. Thought I'd upload it here for the season!

A series of progressive panels showing Goro speaking and Akira progressively getting more and more frustrated. Their eyes are still obscured. Goro: "Don't start with this stupid, sentimental bullshit. I'm just a walking corpse. Spare me the theatrics. Stop wasting time and let me go— Akira, interrupting: "SHUT UP."

Goro stands in full view, Akira's dialogue bubbles surrounding him. His face shows plain shock. Akira's words start out big and loud, then waver and turn small. Akira: "Don't you get it?! I love you! I always have. ...So, please. Even if it's only for tonight. Just this once."

A shot of Akira's full face. He's crying. Akira: "Stay."

A comic. The title, in quotes, is Akechi's line from February 2 "Let's go back to our true reality." The first page is two panels of Akira and Akechi's faces, with their eyes obscured by the frame. Akira: "Akechi, wait." Goro: "What now? Haven't you already said your piece—?"

In the first panel, Akira is shown to have grabbed Goro by the hand. In the second panel, A closeup of Goro's infuriated expression. Neither of their eyes can be seen. Goro: "Akira. Are you FUCKING serious. Let go."

Goro's gloved hand is the only part of him that is visible, and it's unclear whether or not they're letting go or just about to hold on.

Goro stands clear in view, smiling. Akira's hand can be seen letting Goro's hand go. Everything is bright and soft, with a city skyline in the background, and glass shattering all around them as though an illusion has been broken.

Goro and Akira hold each other tightly as they share a long overdue kiss. The room is lit by a sunset glowing through the window. Letters written by Goro to Akira are scattered in the air around them.
