beans had already “died” in my mind once before. when we found her we took her to a vet to see if she was chipped. she was, but was told there was no info. so we take her home to figure out what to do and she settles right in. she had made her own decision, she was home. couple months later she and willie (rip black dog) get in a squabble over food. little toothless ended up with a wound on her head that required stitches. back to the vet. this time they said there was info on the chip and had to contact her owners. owners said they were going to pick her up, we covered the very bill as a kindness. i was devastated. i cried as if she died. she was dead to me, never again would i see this little dog that changed my world. well, two days go by and her original people never coming to get her. THEY LEFT HER THERE FOR TWO FUCKING DAYS vet office calls and said we can take her, we paid the bill after all. so she came home and gave us so much love and joy in her final old years. i thought that my tears years ago would've been enough for when she finally died. i was wrong.

Using bulldozers and heavy machinery, the Israeli army destroyed the storage warehouses and infrastructure where essential equipment, seed materials, and tools for indigenous seed reproduction were kept. This is not just an attack on a building-its an attack on Palestinian food sovereignty, biodiversity and cultural memory.

Israel destroyed a Palestinian seed bank today. This is such a specific kind of evil, targeting literal hope for the future. Attempting to further alienate Palestinians from their home and land. So much destroyed just for the sake of destroying. It's awful.

Robert Plant was sexy and mysterious. Bon Scott was sly and clever. Roger Daltrey was almost a Greek god with his flowing locks. But Ozzy Osbourne, like so many of his fans, was a fuck-up. Beyond the Prince of Darkness stuff, you felt you could be Ozzy. He brought metal to the masses. RIP.
