if you can feel others emotions you are not psychotic. i believe that is more related to not feeling emotions at all and so you feel you need to pretend those emotions.

25.11.2024 06:41 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0i am problem solver. i am also someone who tends to be very optimistic. but sometimes people take advantage and if you actually try to help someone you just get yelled at for not being a βbetter consolerβ or βbetter listenerβ
25.11.2024 00:03 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0i have noticed this in unhealthy relationships where a main component of friendship is talking about things going wrong. i feel sometimes i get to a point where i am tired of being that person to people. iβve heard autistic people can attract people who want to complain a lot.
25.11.2024 00:03 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0during autistic burnout, do you notice empathy fatigue? you still care about peopleβs feelings but your ability to console, offer encouragement, etc has sort if dwindled? i feel that i am always trying to build people up and make them feel better and sometimes i just canβt.
25.11.2024 00:01 β π 7 π 1 π¬ 2 π 0me today: i really want to eat alone and not talk/mask/etc.
also me: forcing myself to socialize even though i am not super comfortable. but sometimes connection is important.
do you relate to this, or are you ok/content with being more reserved?
it does seem friendlier here, yes.
18.10.2023 06:32 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0i agree. it sometimes feels too quiet/calm here. see on twitter π
09.10.2023 22:45 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0i am seeing posts here and it seems calmer here. twitter sometimes feels too big and overwhelming. just a lot going on.
