This was at DNA Lounge for the Cyberdelia party. Not too surprisingly I put together the costume out of my own closet. I even brought one of my ancient laptops and a stack of floppy discs to hand out.

This year is the 30 year anniversary of the movie Hackers. It is also the 10 year anniversary of the only time I’ve ever won a costume contest.

This time around it was about computer speakers and monitor arms. I ended up going with Edifier M60 speakers (yes the name was a factor) and a Huanuo monitor arm.

The satisfaction of closing multiple browser windows filled with innumerable tabs after a two day hyper-focus on what version of a thing I should buy. All those review sites, youtube videos, manufacturer websites, and e-commerce sites are now lost, like tears in the rain...
