I just find I don't. I'm not drawn to it. It's not the splendidly useful timewaster that Twitter was. I could try harder of course.

I really miss the old Twitter, for general work chat with people whose views I value and respect.

I don't really do that on Bluesky but maybe I should? Thoughts?

Politicians are retreating from net zero because they think the public doesn’t care. But they’re wrong | Rebecca Willis Our research shows people are strongly in favour of measures to tackle the climate crisis. They just need to be listened to, says professor of energy and climate governance Rebecca Willis

Excellent must-read article by @bankfieldbecky.bsky.social on the disconnect between what politicians believe and what the evidence shows: the majority of people in the UK want positive action from government to stop climate breakdown.

Very proud to be part of this work, showing a costed path to achieving climate targets - and particularly pleased that for the first time, the CCC commissioned a Citizens' Panel (ie heard from a representative sample of people) to feed in people's experience, views and values

Interesting to see very strong cross-party support for "environmentalism" in the UK

The only exception is populist right-wing Reform supporters (who only made up 14% of voters at last election in any case)

This is such a key point from @bankfieldbecky.bsky.social. A government that vocally led on climate action would be in line with what a large majority actually want. greenallianceblog.org.uk/2024/11/27/w...

Help! New research on people's reactions to demand response/flexibility??

Yesterday I saw something (on here I think) saying that people were more likely to participate in demand response/flexibility services for altruistic reasons, not to save a few pence.

Now I can't find it!

Ideas?
