My perspective is that you are insecure and don't have anything better to do with your time than to pick a fight with a stranger. The account has a bad attitude that is common in the "less than 10 years in poly" community and I wanted to highlight it as someone who's been around a lot longer.

You sure are diehard to paint me as the villian. Nope. Not having it. But I also have better things to do online than to pick a fight with a stranger on the internet like you do.

I don't. The account does. And I don't view my current monogamous relationship as monotonous. I get to grow deeper roots with One Person I Chose and it's anything but monotonous. It requires greater bravery and self-reflection and honesty than any poly relationship I've had over the 20+ years.

It is a valid choice and creating the belief that is is doesn't have to come at the cost of "monotony of monogamy" -- it is better to continuing highlighting the benefits and joys of poly rather than trying to make poly look good by making monogamy look bad.

Cool. Then you have the story. It is very common among the poly community, of which I am a member, to highlight the benefits of poly by breaking down and denigrating monogamy. It happened in that post. Maybe you missed it or are one of them that do it.
