I just discovered that the massive recycled wood mirror that I was gifted in Sydney in 1996 and that I've carried around 1000 flats around the country had fallen off my chest of drawers in today's wind and smashed to bits on my bedroom floor.

Yes! And to make that day worse my ex (now), who had been stuck in Germany for over a year was finally going to turn up in Welly on the 18th (from his parents in Chc, first stop out of quarantine) and was DENIED by that lock down. And consequently I too was denied. Sigh...

Yes I was just thinking about that - same. I used to be a massive Bday Week person, but I've found it hard to get excited for a while. Also have fewer friends IRL since dumping all the right whingers (not a typo) and moving a few times.
I'm working on OUR bday this yr, too. Ugh.

Nice! I got my worst marks ever in School Cert. For some reason I really worked myself up into a completely anxious state about it all, bit my fingernails to the quick (the only time in my life I've bitten them) and managed a woeful 64% as my highest mark. UE completely different story.
