My too woke opinion on the latest episode of South Park is that while i'm all for making fun of terrible people. Having 60% of the Noem jokes be about how she looks distracts from her horrible policies.

its so out of pocket that even coming from Bigby a dude who is supposed to be a bit of an A-hole (but you know the author loves him) it felt incredibly strange. As it really is just the author's politics in neon letters and you realize what he was actually going for with the story.

How it handles the arabian fables was a redflag. But Bigby name dropping isreal and approving their methods is the kind of moment even 13 year old me thought was flabbergasted by Like they don't get explicitly political for most of the story then BAM Zionisim

Whenever he tries to write romance his usually deft pen becomes a sledgehammer. This is a similar to his comedy. Where dude can be funny, but if the point of a scene is COMEDY things suddenly feels oppressive as its clumsy and trying waaay to hard.
