Dad, DIYer, dog owner. I teach supply chain, service operations, quant modeling, and other stuff in a business school. I probably read too much news. And I don’t monoski enough.

He brought home a sweet (literally) red called Jam Jar but it's not gross in the same way.

Rather than enter traffic, I slowed down and went in the gravel shoulder. Was annoyed; kept going. Three minutes later a car slows down next to me and the driver shouts, "So sorry! I blocked you back there!"

In children per year, the US birth rate is at an all-time low, but in Miles’ per hour it’s at an all time high.

Had a wonderful email exchange with a friend about the intersections of anti-Black racism and antisemitism and challenges on university campuses. A much needed reminder of the importance of dialogue, listening to other perspectives, and sharing values even if not reaching the same conclusions.
