Today, some unexpected news and the reality that comes with it has me rethinking that position. I'm not too keen to start down that path again, but the oblivion of black out drunk is suddenly quite appealing 😞

I totally quit drinking in my mid-20s(now almost 51). I was out of control. Headed down a dark path towards alcoholism. Took a few years before I trusted myself to be able to drink socially. I was successful. These days, if I average a drink a year over the course of a decade, I'd be surprised.
